About the series
韓은 “동아시아 문화권 안에서 한국의 멋과 미는 무엇일까?”라는 질문에서 시작한 시리즈입니다. 한국의 미를 찾아다니고, 거기에 저만의 스타일을 더해 미디어 아트 컬렉션으로 만들어갑니다.
韓 began with a question: within East Asian culture, what makes Korean style and beauty its own? I go looking for it and add my own style, building a media art collection along the way.
여기에 쓰이는 Retrospace는 Space age futurism과 80년대 문화, 한국의 미를 섞어 만든 비주얼 스타일입니다. 동아시아의 사이버펑크, 레트로 퓨처리즘처럼 미래를 그려온 자료들에 한국의 미를 섞어보며 계속 발전시켜 가고 있습니다.
Its visual style, Retrospace, mixes space-age futurism, 80s culture, and Korean beauty. I keep developing it by blending Korean aesthetics with visions of the future, from East Asian cyberpunk to retro-futurism.

About the collection
일상에서 문득 떠오른 아이디어를 미디어 작업물로 발전시킨 아트 컬렉션입니다.
An art collection of media works grown from ideas that pop up in everyday life.
주제와 형식은 따로 정해두지 않았으며, 작업 과정과 그 도중에 발견한 아이디어들도 아카이브 형식으로 남겨두고 있습니다.
There's no fixed subject or format. I also keep an archive of the process and the ideas I stumble on along the way.

이미지와 일부 푸티지(Footage) 영상들은 AI를 이용해 생성하고 있습니다. 하지만 기획, 편집, 제작 등은 제 손을 거쳐 저만의 색깔을 가진 작품들로 완성시키고 있습니다.
I use AI to generate images and some footage. But I take each piece through planning, editing, and production myself, shaping it into work with a character of its own.

AI를 이용한 이미지와 푸티지(Footage) 제작부터, 직접 발로 뛰며 찍은 영상과 제 손을 거친 필름 메이킹(Film Making)을 중심으로, 기획, 연출, 편집, 사운드 설계까지 총괄하는 개인 스튜디오입니다.
n0tdraw1ng is my independent studio. From AI-generated images and footage to scenes I go out and shoot myself, I bring the work together through hands-on filmmaking, taking care of planning, direction, editing, and sound design.
AI를 이용하면 빠른 시간에 대량의 작업물들을 쏟아낼 수 있습니다. 하지만 생산량이 꼭 좋은 작업물로 연결되지는 않습니다.
AI lets us produce a lot of work in very little time. But more output doesn't necessarily mean better work.
좋은 것을 경험하고 모아, 제 안에 쌓인 것들을 활용하여 더 나은 작업물을 만드는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다.
I focus on experiencing and collecting good things, then drawing on what stays with me to make better work.
